C1 is closer to a compact square phone. Its official page emphasizes a nearly four-inch square screen, a flip camera, touch interaction and an independent communication-device form. That may suit users who want more visible information and a form closer to a mini phone.

Rabbit r1 uses a smaller square screen, a physical scroll wheel, a push-to-talk button and a rotating camera. Its interface and interaction model are deliberately distinct from a conventional smartphone. Whether that feels focused or restrictive depends on the task and your preference.

Do not decide from dimensions alone. Consider how often you need to read long text, type, review an action before it runs, use the camera, or carry the device in a pocket. A device that looks elegant but adds friction to your most common task is the wrong fit.

Software and AI workflow

Meydo’s current product page positions C1 around cross-app task execution, visual questions, long-term preference memory, reminders, route planning, voice replies and companion-style interaction. These are first-party product claims, not independent performance results. Buyers should verify which features are available at launch, which accounts or services they require, supported languages and markets, and where human confirmation occurs.

Rabbit’s public documentation covers rabbitOS 2, magic recorder, vision and camera features, rabbithole history, rabbit Intern, DLAM and third-party agents. Rabbit labels some agentic features experimental and says users must set up third-party agents themselves. Current functionality changes through cloud and over-the-air updates, so old launch reviews may no longer describe the present experience.

Availability and purchase model

Meydo C1 is currently offered through an early-access benefits pass and pre-order path. The pass and later device purchase are separate stages, and terms, timing, currency and final availability vary by market. Use the current Meydo product and checkout pages for the exact commercial offer.

Rabbit r1 is currently sold as a shipping product. Rabbit’s product page lists a 30-day return policy and markets the device as having no mandatory subscription. Delivery still depends on destination, and buyers should read current return and warranty terms before ordering.

This difference is important: buying a shipping product with an established support history is not the same as reserving access to a product before final delivery. A pre-order can still be reasonable, but unresolved details should remain open questions rather than assumptions.

Rabbit’s guide says r1 requires internet access for activation and AI functions and must be linked to a rabbithole account. Official support lists Wi-Fi, compatible 4G LTE through an unlocked Nano-SIM and smartphone hotspot connectivity; it says r1 does not support 5G.

“No subscription” needs a narrow reading. Rabbit advertises no mandatory device subscription, but Rabbit Intern provides three free tasks before paid task packs or subscriptions. Music, third-party agents and bring-your-own-key features can require separate accounts, subscriptions or API costs.

Meydo’s current page lists Nano-SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS hardware. Buyers should separately verify activation, carrier compatibility, data-plan needs, cloud dependencies, usage limits and any third-party costs for the exact market where they will use C1.

Privacy and data controls

Do not rank privacy from the length of a policy. Ask what happens to voice, camera images, files, location, contacts and conversation history; which model or service providers receive them; whether data is used for training; how long it is retained; and whether deletion covers both device and cloud copies.

Rabbit documents journal-entry deletion, full account deletion and factory reset as separate actions. A local factory reset is not the same as deleting cloud data. Third-party agents may also have separate privacy terms.
